How does it work?
We have 2 modes available:
Auto response mode: The AI will respond to questions automatically, replying in real-time with content aware responses to customer queries.
Suggestive more:
Instead of replying for you, the AI will suggest appropriate responses to questions based on the training information it has been given. Inside the dashboard, you can use these suggestions, edit, or regenerate alternative suggestions before confirming your response. This mode is ideal if you want to speed up your response time using AI but still want a human touch.
If you like the idea of having an all-in-one inbox but don't want the AI features, you can switch off the AI entirely.
What communication channels is it compatible with?
The parrot can be used to auto-reply to messages via your Facebook business page, Instagram business page, Google Business Profile and can even be added to your website as a chat widget.
Purchase a Talky phone number* and the parrot can reply to your text messages too!

How much does it cost?
The basic Talky subscription is £85 per month. This gives you access to Talky's all-in-one inbox where you can connect your social media accounts to start receiving and manually replying to Facebook, Instagram and Google messages for free.
However, OpenAI (the wind beneath our parrot's wings) does cost money to use. Hey, that's the price of doing business!
Pricing is currently set at $0.02 for each AI response generated. (Much cheaper than hiring a real hooman)
Unlike other companies, we operate a pay for what you use policy so you're not hit with huge fees even if you don't use up your allowances.
Simply add your credit card details, set a minimum credit balance, and how much you want to top-up when you drop below that balance. When you do, we'll auto-charge your card so you never run out of credits.
A first deposit of $10 is required to start using Talky.
Are there any additional fees?
It all depends how many of our additional features you use.
Phone & SMS Messages
Adding a phone number (optional) allows you to make phone calls and send text messages through Talky.
Each Talky phone number costs a monthly fee of $1.15.
Send Text Message: $ 0.095 / sms.
Receive Text Message: $ 0.0083 / sms.
Making Calls: $ 0.0290 / min.
Receiving Calls: $ 0.0100 / min.
WhatsApp
Adding WhatsApp costs a monthly fee of $24.99. (Don't blame us, blame Meta!) WhatsApp is not compatible with AI yet.
Please note: You must have a WhatsApp business account to use Talky. Signing up is easy, but you can't use your personal phone number if it's already connected to a personal WhatsApp account. If you don't have a 2nd number you can use, you'll need to purchase a Talky phone number for a monthly fee of $0.95.
Inbound WhatsApp messages are free to receive.
Outbound messages are also free except if it your business that is initiating the conversation. In this case the standard WhatsApp Marketing Message fee is applied of $0.0705 for the first message sent. WhatsApp then gives you a free 24 hour window in which to chat.
Yes, you can even send email messages via Talky, although sadly, this is not compatible with AI.

How do I train the parrot?
Training the chatparrot is straightforward. Our user-friendly interface allows you to input website URLs and Google Docs that contain information about your business. You can also add more complex questions and answers, which the bot will remember and reference during conversations.
You'll also be able to see the parrot's responses to any questions, so if you see something that isn't quite right, you can give that reply a thumbs down, and suggest a better response for next time.
How does the parrot handle multiple inbound messages?
Squawky waits for a configured amount of time to collect all messages in a conversation before responding, allowing it to understand the context better and respond to all messages in one go.
Can the parrot be configured for almost instant responses?
Yes, the wait time can be configured to as low as one second for the parrot to respond almost instantly. Setting it to around 10-20 seconds makes it feel a bit more human.
Does it handle complex queries?
While Squawky excels at handling routine queries, it can be configured to escalate more complex issues to your human support team. This ensures that intricate matters receive the attention they deserve.
Can it book appointments?
Yes, create a calendar inside Talky (sync it with your Outlook or Google Calendar) and our AI parrot can book appointments in your calendar and will even send automatic reminders.
